Law Abiding Citizen Movie Reviews

Overall, a VERY good movie. It keeps you wondering what's next and in some places make your jaw drop with a surprise that comes out of nowhere.
The only reason I couldn't give this a 5 star rating though, is that the ending kind of become predictable. With some of the shock instances early on, I was looking forward to being jaw dropped until the end. The whole store and the ending was still very good, but the ending wasn't jaw dropping like I was hoping it would have been.
There were a couple of times when I would have liked to have seen more of the villain's 'cool rage'. He plays that so well, so if when he does his pieces and being enraged like in 300, it kind of belittles the character as being cold and calculating. That was only in a few places, but overall still well done.
I SAW IT TODAY IT IS A KICKASS MOVIE THAT KEEPS YOU THINKING GO SEE IT.BY THE WAY DONT BE HOLDING ANYTHING LIKE DRINKS OR POPCORN IN ONE PART THERE IS A HOLY S#$% MOMENT.ITS A LITTLE LONG BUT WORTH IT .YOU WILL LIKE THIS MOVIE.
Nothing makes me angrier than when I go to the movies and see a well-respected actor who looks like they’re just walking through the motions in a movie they only starred in because they got paid tons of cash. I felt that way as I watched “Law Abiding Citizen.” The plot, or what there is of it, involves Butler’s Clyde Shelton getting revenge on those who let his wife and daughter’s murderer go free. But wait, he’s in jail! How’s he doing this? All I could think was, “Who gives a crap?” The actors certainly didn’t. Butler seems to be waiting for someone to hand him the script to “The 301”, and Foxx, who, I remind you, won an OSCAR, seems to be waiting for the cameras to stop rolling so he can work on his next album. To make things worse, this movie was directed by F. Gary Gray, who also directed one of my favorite films of all time, “Friday”. Here, he just serves up the leftovers from an unused script from one of the “Saw” films and tries to pass it off as “Silence of the Lambs”. Sorry, boys, this dude does not abide.
